Olentangy Bikeway Extension to Troon Trail

Dear Member,

The following is based on telephone conversations with Columbus Parks and Recreation. The bikeway extension to Troon Trail is tentatively scheduled and is funded at this point in time. The critical bottleneck (literally) is a culvert underneath Olentangy River Road just South of Troon Trail. This culvert is scheduled to be replaced in 2005. At the time of replacement the city will widen the culvert, which would allow the bike path to cross the drainage ditch.

The Potters Creek Civic Association will monitor the progress of this project.
